MCC MATERIAL RESOURCE CENTER
 
IS A LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED NONPROFIT LOCATED NEAR SOUDERTON, PENNSYLVANIA,  DEVOTED TO  CARRY OUT THE MISSION OF MENNONITE CENTRAL COMMITTEE    IN BEING A CARING AND SHARING PRESENCE IN THE WORLD IN THE NAME OF CHRIST.  THIS LOCAL CENTER PROCESSES DONATIONS DESTINED TO MEET ONGOING AND IMMEDIATE HUMANITARIAN NEEDS.  LOCALLY KITS FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN, HEALTH KITS, RELIEF KITS, BLANKETS AND COMFORTERS ARE GATHERED TOGETHER AND PREPARED FOR DISTRIBUTION BY MCC.
THE MATERIAL RESOURCE CENTER RECENTLY MOVED TO A NEW FACILITY WHICH IS MORE ACCESSIBLE AND HAS MORE ROOM IN WHICH TO CARRY OUT IT'S MISSION.  PLEASE LOOK AT OUR SITE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

          NEW COORDINATOR NAMED 

The MRC Executive Board is pleased to announce the  appointment of Mrs. Sharon Swartzentruber as the MCC  Material  Resource  Center  Coordinator.  Sharon will be responsible for the overall operation of the local program at the new facility.  She has been involved in MCC work and most recently served in a similar role at the Cumberland Valley Relief Center at Chambersburg, PA.  Sharon began her work schedule April 19 and has already involved in scheduling, education about MCC and learning the local practices.  Stop in and get acquainted at the new location at 737 Hagey Center Drive, Souderton.
